You are all so wonderful and you have made me feel like it’s worthwhile, the blog, the scrapbooking and even friendship.
I’ve had some time to assess and take stock. I’ve spoken to a mentor about these issues, I’ve addressed a couple of areas that needed attention and I’ve had a good look at those around me and made some decisions.
I have decided that I’m going to let one or two people loose, so to speak. I’m not going to confront them, as I don’t feel it’s necessary. They know what they are doing and they know what’s motivating them, in my mind it’s largely based on fear and greed and nothing I say will change any of that. There really is no point in me expending energy on things that can’t be changed. Time is precious so I will allocate my time to those that count.
One friendship in particular is far too special to me to lose so I will make an effort to build a bridge there. I feel I need to accept that they won’t change, we will never hold the same opinion on certain matters and they are far too stubborn to change their ways so I have decided I’ll just accept them as they are and live with it.
I do have a new frontier ahead of me and I’m going to give it everything I’ve got. I have so many bookings in my diary even I’m shock, now it’s time for me to make the most of these opportunities and run with it.
The past month has really put a huge spotlight on those that are my real friends and they have completely supported and encouraged me, thank you Jo, Claire and Julie, I really appreciate your efforts.
Thank you also to each of you that have left me such encouraging emails and comments here on my blog.
So, life goes on and we each make our own bed to lie in. My bed is comfy and warm and that’s where I’m heading right now.
Good night all.

Maddy, I wouldn’t have it any other way, you have supported me with my business for the past 5 years or so, you were my very first client, and you have stuck with me, not too many people can say that they have stuck with the same person for that long! (even if I did dye your eyebrows a little dark one time and made you look like the marx brothers!!), and you also know it’s great to have a bitch session, always feels better when you get it off your chest, vent it!
