On Tuesday evening I went with my team leader, Doreen, to sign up officially to become a CM consultant. It was all very nice, huge room, big tables, and velvet drapes, lots of smart looking ladies all very excited and lots and lots of prizes to be won. As the night progressed they gave away dozens of door prizes all leading up to the main raffle of three gorgeous gifts. Doreen was getting annoyed, as her table had won nothing, we were one number off so many of the prizes but not one win. As the final draw began I said to Doreen “don’t worry, I’m going to win that one” and pointed to the biggest basket of scrapbooking supplies on the table. As the host slowly read out each of the numbers on the winning ticket Doreen and I held out breath and checked my ticket, we let out this huge scream followed by fits of laughter as we realized I had won the basket!

As you can see it is huge and filled to the top with all the things a girl needs to get scrapping. I had a really fun and motivating night and I feel more confident than ever about committing myself to making this work. I have already reached my first two goals, the first was to present a class, which I did last Sunday and my second was to place my first order, this is all ready to go and I’ll put that in on Wednesday. My next two goals are to book and run five more classes, four of which are booked in my diary, and reach my second target. So all I can say is “BRING IT ON!”

One of the beautiful products available through CM is this Everyday Display, I borrowed this one to use last Saturday and I’m expecting my own to arrive any day now. I just had to take a photo to show you, as I was so pleased with how it turned out. These are the only photos I have of my ancestors on my Dad’s side. You may remember I spent a lot of time last year searching for a living relative of my Dad’s, eventually I was able to find my Dad’s cousin, Sandra, and she kindly sent me these precious photos. Don’t they all look so wonderful, from the little old lady on the left to my Grandma in her 1930’s hat! I love them.
The weather bureau is predicting sun, sun and more sun for this afternoon so we have decided to dust off the cobwebs, hose down the patio, break out the wine and fire up the BBQ, our first for the season. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
