Judy at Mid-Life Bliss tagged me this week with the “How Quirky am I?” meme, thanks Judy. As usual here are the rules: -
1) Link to the person who tagged you.
2) Mention the rules.
3) Tell six quirky yet boring, unspectacular details about myself.
4) Tag six other bloggers by linking to them.
5) Go to each person’s blog and leave a comment that lets them know they’ve been tagged.
So let’s get quirky…
#1 I’m a creature of habit. My mourning routine rarely changes from one day to the next. I get up, pee, turn on the computer, flick kettle to boil, make coffee then read emails while drinking coffee. Without the coffee it’s just not hap’nen.
#2 I’m a hand washer! I probably wash my hands 6 to 12 times a day. I think it all started when I had children and got worse when I became a bank teller, all that dirty money, and now that we have a dog I wash my hands even more often.
#3 I’m a folder not a scruncher (well it did say quirky).
#4 I’m left handed but I can do just about everything, except write, with my right hand. When I cut glass for leadlight I often switch hands, this would have my teacher completely baffled.
#5 I can remember the most obscure facts and things that happened years and years ago, but I forget someone’s name immediately after they tell it to me, very frustrating.
#6 I can’t stand pet hair; it freaks me out big time!
Now that you all think I’m completely nuts lets find out how quirky you all are…
Marie – A Year From Oak Cottage
I’ve had a really quiet weekend; I did very little and loved it. The weather was pretty darn cold and so I just snuggled up and watched the Olympics. The gymnastics was amazing, those girls are so small and spindly and yet they spin and jump and take my breath away. And what about the 100 metres men’s final! How does a man run 100 metres in 9.68 seconds? Phenomenal. And you can’t possibly talk about the Olympics without mentioning Michael Phelps, 8 gold medals at one games, he’s a freak, in a good way!
My Creative Memories Scrapbooking plans are all coming together nicely. I have four party’s booked in and I’m feeling more and more confident about doing the presentation and running the class. I have also been organising a full day of scrapbooking with my girlfriend, Kylie. We hope to run a “Scrap’n’Stamp Sunday” once a quarter with at least 20 ladies; so far it’s all looking good.
With all that said I’m off to get my ironing done and those dishes….

Interesting to read and I don’t think you are nuts at all. Many are very sensible.

I’m with you on the pet hair. I thought this was a fun meme. Everyone is different and that’s what makes each of us so great.
I love the bunny it’s so cute. I’ll have to check out the etsy shop.
