Thank you so much to eveyone who has wished me well on my venture into demonstrating for Creative Memories. Last night I went to my first workshop as a “learner” demonstrator. Zoe did a great job on the invitations and had two tables of ladies scrap’in away, which gave me a chance to work with a table of people on my own. Doreen, my team leader, is such a professional and has made this initial process really fun and easy. Thanks Doreen.
This is what my ‘craft’ desk looks like at the moment…

Not a lot of crafting going on but lots of planning, I even got myelf a very snazzy red filofax, woohoo! I wrote my first Newsletter today which I’ll be emailing and posting to everyone I know, so look out. I also booked myself out for two Sunday workshops in September, a hands-on class and a digital demonstration. Hopefully I’ll inspire all my friends and family to book a seat … hint hint friends and family!
I’ve also made myself some business cards, it felt kind’a cheaky making my own, but if it’s going to save me some money then what the heck. My official sign up day is not untill the 9th of September but there’s no time to waste getting organised, and it’s keeping me busy so I don’t notice the nerves as much. I woke up at about 5am today when suddenly I had this brilliant idea for a class, my brain is just going at a hundred miles an hour.
In other news, Red-the-wonder-dog had his first experience at the travelling dog wash. One of my lovely neighbours, also named Doreen, runs a travelling dog wash and she came at 8am to give him the once over. He had a lovely shampoo and blow-wave followed by a manicure. Spoilt rotten, but hey when you’re this cute nothing’s too much trouble.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Maddy, I reckon you’ll be a real hit as a CM consultant - it’s right up your alley! Besides, your motives are unquestionable (who wouldn’t want a craft room like that!).
I smiled at your dog-boy having his first mobile wash. Our Jack used to have one once a week and he would be positively blissed out every time. He used to lean against the side of the bath with his eyes closed and exhale loudly.

Good Luck with the new venture - it sounds very exciting!! And, hey, if I had such a good-looking dog in my life I’d be pampering him too!

Can she come over and give my dog a bath? (lol) I have never heard of a traveling dog wash. I wonder if they have some in my area here, very cool.
Again good luck on the new venture and Happy “belated” Birthday to Bailey.
