When I was about ten years old my parents gave me a record player for my birthday, along with an album titled ”Abba”, I still have it today (note to self to check eBay prices!). I played that record over and over again; all the while holding my hairbrush and pretending to be Agnetha swishing my long blonde hair behind me just like her. My walls were plastered with their posters, along with Leif Garrett, and sadly Chachi from Happy Days, very sad really! I knew all the words and ALL the actions, yes I think I liked the actions as much as the words.

This afternoon my sister, niece and I went to see the musical Mamma Mia at the flicks and I’ve gotta’ say girls this movie is fantastic. We laughed, my sister cried and we all sang along to each and every song. Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan are really great and you won’t believe Colin Firth, let’s just say he’s no Mr Darcy in this performance! So get your girlfriends together, probably not one for the fellas, and go and see this movie, it’s a ripper!

Have a great weekend everyone.

I can’t wait to see this Maddy! I loved Abba when I was a girl as well, also the Osmonds. I think we are going to see it on Tuesday!

There is no shame about loving Chachi Maddy. It was part of your girlhood. I’m busting to go to see Mama Mia. We are on the brink of the Summer 6 weeks holidays here so everyone is very busy. Will go soon though

Sounds fun - it was Donny Osmond who was plastered over my bedroom walls. LOL.
Hope it’s OK to snatch the swap photo and put it on Flickr? I must get this thing tidied up and done.
