Thank you for the lovely comments on my last post, I got just a little paranoid that you’d all left me never to return!! There was a small story behind that beautiful lily from my husband. It was a peace offering! My lovely husband had been spending far too much time on the xBox and not attending to all the other things he should have been doing and I had a bit of a meltdown. But after the lovely lily arrived all was forgiven.
As I have no pretty photos to share I thought I’d do a Mosaic Monday entry. Here in Australia it’s mid winter, cold and wet with little colour in the garden to inspire me. As I’m craving colour I thought all this wonderful colour would feed my soul.

I received a beautiful parcel last week as part of Zoe’s Words and Bookmark Swap. Thank you to Jo for the great parcel, no Kisses left but I’m going to really enjoy the book.

Monday is my housework day so I’d better be off and get stuck into it. Have a great week everyone.

Summer officially began last Friday on this side of the equator. I live for summer. It’s the only thing that gets me through our very long winters here.
Meltdowns are also good for the psyche once in awhile. It’s like a cleansing. If we could only focus those on inanimate objects. Doesn’t have the same effect when you’re talking to a door though.

It seems funny to me that you are in the midst of your winter and our summer is just really beginning! Beautiful flower pictures today Maddy, and I have to agree with Liz, a meltdown once in a while does wonders! Apparently it brings flowers as well!!

Love the parcel from Jo. Maddy have you got a photo of what you sent to Jo, please? I can’t see it on her blog!
