I’m going to start this post with this question, “Why hasn’t anyone told me about Greek salad before?”. Last Sunday I had my first taste and now I’m addicted. We had it on Monday night with our dinner, I then had it for lunch on Wednesday and tonight we had lamb kebabs with…. Greek salad. My husband was able to buy some very tender lamb back straps which I slowly cooked on a low heat in the over, letting them rest for five minutes before carving. Delishuuuuuuuuus!

Tonight at exactly 8.33pm we all dashed outside and gazed at the heavens to watch the International Space Station orbit over Melbourne and Geelong MY HOUSE. With the space shuttle Endeavour attached to its docking port, the space station was the brightest object in the sky after the moon. Earth’s largest artificial satellite graced our skies for four or five minutes from 8.33pm. As it came into sight I felt like a little kid, in total awe of what I was seeing. This bright star-like object clearly moving through the sky. Sadly four minute passed like seconds and it was gone.

And finally I’d like to show off the latest school photos, Nick’s first high school pic. He really has grown up so much in the past few months. Gone are the chubby cheeks. His voice is all over the place and he sais things that are way too grown up to be coming from my son. He is thoroughly enjoying high school, well maybe not the homework, but everything else is “way cool”.

Tomorrow we are expecting another very hot day so I intend to finding a couple of good DVD’s, turning up the air conditioner and sip on something with lots of ice in it. If it’s hot in your part of the world “stay cool” if not “keep warm”. Have a great week everyone.

What a handsome lad your son is. I bet he has some girls day dreaming about him! I’ve always wanted to know how to put text in with lines crossed through it. What is your secret?

Hiya Maddy
The name Geelong popped out at me…. are you anywhere close? I have very distant relations there who contacted me thru Genes Reunited on my Gumb and Landry lines from Cornwall. Just last weekend I had another contact from Geelong but this one turned out not to be mine! Hope you’re all well.
