It’s been years….

January 12th, 2008

For Christmas Santa brought Nicholas a 1000 piece puzzle, it’s an unusual one that doesn’t have the image to copy from, your guessing all the way.  I thought it would be nice for the boys to do over the holidays, on those hot days when they can’t go outside they could sit under the air conditioner and do the puzzle.

Well that was the plan anyway!

Now I find myself still up at midnight, first thing in the morning and when I get home from work.  It’s made me late for work once and we had take-away twice this week when I couldn’t drag myself away and the next thing it was 7.30 and no dinner done.  The thing is when I see the boys leaning over the puzzle I ask them what they’re doing, did they put any pieces in?  I’m addicted to the bloody thing.

So I’ve let things slip and not been blogging or blog hopping.  Sorry about that.

Am relieved it’s a jiggy honey. Thought you had all been washed away or frazzled in the dreadful heat. Enjoy!!!

so, thats what you have been up to!!! Isnt it just too easy to get caught up in jigsaws, sewing, knitting or reading blogs and books! I have to use my kitchen timer now to set aside an hour or so for a specific activity (only to reset it once the timer has gone off)! I have been known to be a bit late picking the youngest up from school if the alarm hasnt been set for 3.15pm!!! I just completely lose track! The image you are creating looks very interesting??

So jigsaws are the new blogging.

Happy 2008. I just read Baileys Story, the meatballs part brought tears to my eyes, so glad I’ve read it.
Do you visit Little Cotton Rabbits?

You have more patience than I do. Must be great to finish such a large jigsaw puzzle though.

It’s nice when you can get so engrossed in something - although I never was any good at jigsaws. Hope you’re enjoying the long holiday.
