I do love Christmas so very much, all the shopping and trimming and wrapping and shopping, oh how I love it.Â
This weekend my favourite farmers market is on and so I will be spending this morning roaming around oohing and aahring at all the lovely handmade and home cooked goods. I have only a few gifts left to buy for Christmas and I hope to get them today. I’ll be spending the evening watching The Bill and Parky while wrapping gifts and putting them under the tree. Yeahhhh!

Last weekend I had this brilliant idea to make my own wreath to hang at the front door, that was the plan. I gathered my bits together, painted the foam wreath gold and started adding my glittery bits. Then I realised I needed more bits, so I got lots of red shiny baubles, and that is were it all began to unravel. How to attach those darn baubles to a painted foam wreath? I tried to glue them but the painted finish stopped them from sticking and made a mess, ahhhhh! I tried stabbing them into the wreath but that just mushed the foam… f#@/*!!! So today, with a week to re-think things and calm myself, I am going to try wiring them on! Wish me luck.
I hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend, filled with lots of lovely shopping, decorating and of course more shopping!
Later that same day ……….

Well the market was great and I spent all my money, no surprises there. I was able to get all the things on my list including three new book marks, a Christmas tree cookie cutter, delicious nectarins and the best tasting popcorn in the world, OK maybe not the world, but it’s very very good smothered in cinemon and a little suger and butter. Â
Red the wonder dog didn’t miss out, we got him a big heshen bed to go outside in the kids cubby house and here he is trying on his new collar. Sniff sniff, he’s moved up to a big boys collar, oh they grow up way too fast!

With all that shopping done I guess it’s time to get out the wrapping paper and get them safely under the tree.

Here’s an idea. Why not get some wire from the local hardware store, cut it into 3 inch lengths and slipt it through the hanger bits on the ornaments, and then fold in half and twist it tight so that it is a post type of thingie and then just stick it into the foam. (not sure I explained that right or not!)
Cute doggie. Nice collar!
