Here in Australia it’s Spring, and one of my favorite times of the year.

Spring to me holds the promise of something more to come, of new beginnings and of renewed life.Â

When I look around my garden I see so much to look forward to.

It’s a time in my life when I find new direction.

Beauty is all around me.

I find joy in the warmth of the sun and the gift of life.

And I look forward to creating memories that will last a lifetime.

What do you mean it’s Spring in Australia? I am too old to admit that I don’t get this “seasons are different on the other side of the world” stuff. This made me laugh - that I was so stupid. These are beautiful pictures - HAPPY SPRING!

G’day Kellan,
Yes here in Australia it’s spring from now until Dec 1 when, you guessed it, it’s summer!!!!
I lived in England as a child and always had white Christmas’s, so our first Aussie Christmas in the middle of summer was quiet a shock.
Have a lovely day and thank you for dropping in to visit me.

Love the little bird box and the shell collage. Enjoy your Spring - I love our Autumn.
Oh yes, in answer to your question, the orchid in the corner is silk and the other two are real - they do really well in the lightness of the conservatory. My Dad bought me the white one for my last Christmas present and it has flowered continuously ever since!

This is one of the things that I love about blogging. Here in the UK we are heading into Autumn and Winter and although I have always known that the seaons are different in the Southern Hemisphere it really isn’t anything you ever think about. But seeing the spring flowers on blogs such as yours brings it all home, it is so much more real and I don’t really know why but I like that.
