I’d like to start by thanking all the people who offered help with my family tree research, I’m always amazed by the kindness of strangers and by the Internet community. Thank you all so much, I am sure with the number of people looking I’ll be able to find what I’m looking for.
Â
Yesterday was market day, the first for spring. We were nice and early this time and so the choice of things to spend our pennys on was unlimited. The boys were treated to their usual home made lemonade and then spent ten minutes drooling over lollypops at the home made sweet stall. Lee got three jars of home made Indian sauce and two bags of licorice.  The dog didn’t miss out and was treated to a new bed.  I was luckiest of all and got a beautiful breakfast cup, some wonderfully aromatic cinnamon sticks for the bathroom and the garden was treated to three new additions, at 3 for $10 I couldn’t resist .Â

We spent the rest of the day doing house work and Lee even washed the car, it’s bound to rain now! Lee and Nick then took Red for a run at the lake and he had his first swim.  Red wasn’t too keen on getting in the water and Lee had to give him a gentle nudge, but once in he had fun.

Today Mum and I are off to The Stitches and Craft Show which should be a lovely day out. My favorite Fiskars people will be there doing free workshops so hopefully I will get to do one of their class’s. I will be on the lookout for some floral flannel to finish my chenille bedspread makeover. I will also be looking for Christmas cushion pannels to spruce up my couch for the coming season, oh did I say CHRISTMAS!
Thank you once again to all those who have offered their help and advice in finding a link to the living on my family tree, you are an amazing network of friends and I really appreciate all the help you can offer. Have a lovely Sunday one and all.
