Over the past few days it has been very cold here in Melbourne and up in the hills it has been snowing. My boys have never seen the snow and so yesterday I was a very naughty Mum and kept the boys home from school so that we could drive about an hour from home and spend the day at the snow. To say the boys were wrapped would be an understatement … they had a ball. Here is the photo graphic evidence to show that it does snow downunder.

And just to prove this is Australia here is a little kangaroo poop in the snow!!

I’m clearly not used to the snow, I backed the car up the hill into the field that was covered in snow, not realising that I am now in a very muddy situation and I was so scared of getting bogged. Luckily for me after a few goes I was able to get the car to grip and off we went … phew!

OK that’s it for now, I’m off to the shops with Mum and then it’s all house work, oh well!

Looks like all of you had fun there! It is amazing to think of the seasonal differences the two hemispheres create. it’s summer here in Norway, but you won’t know it for all the rain we’re having. I’m not good with winter, so I’m not looking forward to it’s arrival–and I’m now living in the land of the Far North! Happy Days! :o)
