My weekend was spent in scrapbook heaven, we had an absolute ball and got to bed on both nights after midnight. Our trip to Kyneton did not go without incident and we found our selves lost about an hour into the journey, a quick check of the Melway put us back on the right track and we arrived at 7pm. Our accommodation was simple but clean and that’s all we needed, the work tables were huge which is what we wanted and the food was plain but nutritious.Â
It took Jenny and I no time at all to settle in, unpack our totes and commence the marathon scrap that would see us crawling into bed on Friday night at midnight. By 8.30am on Saturday morning we were dressed, fed and back at our tables ready for one very very long day of scrapbooking.

After dinner on Saturday evening we all dressed in our pajamas, grabbed our teddy’s and headed back to the tables for a very funny Pajama Party. At 1am Jenny and I yawned our way back to our cabbin and tucked ourselves in having completed a marathon 16 hour day!

Sunday morning up at 7am to find thick fog has blanketed the camp site. With our breaky finished by 8.30am we head back through the pea soup to commence our final assault on what has been a fantastic weekend of fun, laughter, stories and scrapbooking.Â
I got to meet so many wonderful ladies and I can’t thank Doreen enough for organising such a fantastic event. By days end I had completed over 28 pages and added to my sisters 50th birthday album. Apparently they do this twice a year ….. bring on October!

Maddy, I’ve been SO slack at checking in on blogs lately that I’m sorry to see that I missed your birthday!! Happy belated birthday to you
The scrapbooking weekend looks like so much fun - I’d love to do something like that! (especially if it required getting one of those cool totes)
