Finally the dear little puppy has a name following many trials with names like Horry (not my favourite), Rusty ( the boys hated it), we tried out Tank (nahhhhh) and my suggestion Oscar (which only I liked) but finally we all agreed on Red. Here is today’s puppy pic, Bailey and Dad enjoying a morning cuddle.

We had a rotten night with Red keeping us up with his yelping and barking. Lee was the designated night watchman getting up three times to calm him down. When I finally went in this morning to see what all the fuss was about I found his bed in the cold laundry room, not the warm bathroom … no wonder he wouldn’t go to sleep!
Our youngest son Bailey has wanted a dog since he was about three years old, as we had just moved into a new house with no garden just mud it was out of the question. With the garden finally finished we were able to get Bailey the exact puppy he had talked about for so long and to say he is besotted would be an understatment. He gets up as soon as he hears him and rushes home from school to check everything is OK with his best friend. I’m sure they are going to have a very special relationship that Bailey will remember for a lifetime.
OK enough of the romantic nonsense off I must go to clean up all that unwanted poop and piddle.  I’ll leave you with the now happy, content, sleeping puppy named Red!
