Yeah for the weekend, Oy Veh what week I’ve had. I feel like a hurricane ran through my life and left me spinning around and around. I was so glad when the baseball coach rang last night to say Nick’s 8am game had been cancelled, not that I don’t love getting up at 7am on a Saturday morning so that we can get on the road by 7.30am!
And so to this wonderful day … Happy Birthday Mum. Yes it’s my beautiful Mum’s birthday. I know this is going to sound bias but I have the best mother in the entire world, I’m sure your Mum is great but my Mum is the best, oh go on then you can have the best Mum too!  It was an absolute pleasure to spend my Friday evening late night shopping for her gift, I got a beautiful handbag and some special face cream for the boys to give.Â
This is the week that was …
We at No. 53 are Big Brother tragics, we love Gretel, Friday Night Games, The Daily Show and UpLate. We each have our favourites and the one’s we hate and want booted out. This year I love Andrew and  Hayley the love birds who had to keep it all a secret and succeeded. Bodie is driving my mad but earlier in the week it was TJ whom I still think is very odd. Ok ok enough.
We had rain, lots and lots of beautiful rain.
I moved to WordPress and staid up very very late installing things and playing with new stuff like “widgets” and “plugins”, all fun!
Nicholas had some blood tests and nearly fainted. He had been fasting for 12 hours, which is a lot for an 11 year old, so when he finally go into the chair to get the needle the nurse said “ok I think you need to lay down” when I looked at him he had gone from smiles and brave to pail and wobbly all in a matter of seconds. He did very well and felt much better after a giant chocolate muffin and a large milkshake.
Thursday night has improved even more with the new Jamie Oliver show on the telly … Jamie’s Chef. This is just the best ever show and I am embarrassed to admit to a small crush on the adorable Jamie.Â
And here we are back to the weekend, I guess it will include some of the usual subjects like washing and tidying up but then we’re off to my sisters to celebrate Mum’s birthday. Lee hired me The Queen to watch tonight, I am really looking forward to it. And I am sure I will spend tomorrow playing with my new web site toys.
 Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
